The Blue Planet:

by Scott Cole   May 1, 2016

In the whole wide World
She ranks number one,
Ahead just by a breath
Third rock from the Sun.

She's part of the Milky Way
Her complexion is blue,
Our home away from home
We're just passing through.

She's the mother of life
A mouth full of fresh air,
Birthplace of mankind
This place we all share.

Her pure beauty is majestic
So peaceful and serene,
Of all the nine planets
Her splendor is supreme.

So she's honored by Royalty
The best room with a view,
Yes blessed by God above
For his favorite color is blue.
