Giving myself away

by donk2ymouth   Jun 12, 2016

This is not a secret nor a story
If it sounds full of lies or old wives tales I'm sorry, this is confession, repentance for me- father forgive me for I was blind but now I can see, but I'm not particularly religious, rather not at all- i slither like a slinky instead of standing straight and tall...too uptight to be upright too slimy for one to admire me, too much grief to punctuate a poem, I write this one for me and me alone. A jumbled mess of words, take the time to digest this mess, swallow.
Or spit.
If you dont like it. I never said you had to care or inquire about my blank stares but you did anyway
So for you- I give myself away

Magi, a very unique and meaningful poem for you. I can relate to this as I don't abide by any religion tbh..

The only query I have with it is "this is confession" I feel it should be this is A confession.

    Great write, Em

Ah tht freedom, seldom, I inquire. But no, no, no. I thought it was like that

    but then, no, no, no...

    Jesus!

    What is that?

    I must be going now.
