My Tree of Inspiration

by Maple Tree   Jun 19, 2016

When those thunderous clouds
began to boil under a baking sun-

I was the breeze whispering.

A thunderstorm brewing,
the aftermath of a loving
embrace.

You adorned my soul,
purifying the very breath of me.

A little cyclone seedling,
planted among native roots.

My blossoming eyes
are the true nature of you, Sir-

I was a limb within your branches.

Father,
overtime I have become
a soft rain, these leafy tears
became dew diamonds,

you
are the reason
that I love Mother Earth....

For My Father~

I just got on and read this on Facebook.... so happy you shared this! I teared up a bit and my heart is so touched. Even though I have never met your father and you of course, I feel such a deep connection and love. Such a beautiful, pure kind of love. One that will always bond you two especially in the eyes of Mother Earth :)
