I Need You (Anaphora form)

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Oct 19, 2016

1
I need you like the flower needs the rain shower
I need you like the spring needs water
I need you to make my loneliness disappear
Baby, I just need you near.

2

I need you like there's tomorrow
I need you just like before
I long for you to care for me
I long for you to miss me
I need your comforting words
That tells me like we own the whole world.

3

I need your sweet words that tell me " life must go on"
I need your embraces that make me tough and strong
I need you to complete my thousand dreams
I need you beneath my wings
Please don't let my dreams flew away
Baby, I need you to stay.

    Hello Gel,

This is a new form on me, so it's hard for me to comment from my phone on its technical merit. However, the words are full of ardent emotional longing thar many (including me) will be able to relate to.

Gel, could you add a footnote, explaining the form?

    Take care,

Anaphora is the repetition of a certain word or phrase at the beginning of successive lines of writing or speech. It can be used in novels and short stories, but it's most commonly seen in poetry, essays, and formal speeches.

Love can make us or break us but when we find our true soul mate we can be ourselves and nothing else will matter. I can completely relate to this.
