You Can't Copy a Soul

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Sep 13, 2025

You!

Who stitched your image from borrowed skin,
Wearing someone else's truth to fit in.

But masks crack, and mimicry fades,
While the real ones rise, the fake ones degrade.

Being different? That’s no flaw.
It’s the rawest power the world ever saw.

I don’t beg to be understood,
I stand where originals always stood.

See, I don't echo, I ignite.
I don’t follow, I write my light.

While you rehearse your every move,
I live with nothing left to prove.

Pretending’s cute, till you’re exposed,
When the filters fade and the curtains close.

They’ll see you wore a stranger’s face,
In a desperate bid to find your place.

But truth? It shines without disguise,
No need for borrowed alibis.

So go ahead keep cloning style,
But you can’t fake purpose, not even for a while.

Peel it off! That scripted tone,
That dream that was never your own.

Find the grit to stand alone,
To build a name carved in your stone.

Because trends die fast,
But character stays.
And copycats?
They never blaze.

So build your path, don’t trace a line.
I'll be the brand that’s purely mine.

No replicas. No watered roles.
Be your passion, dreams, your soul.

Because you can steal the look, the line, the plan
But you’ll never fake the heart of who I am.

      MKKK,

Thank you so much...That's part of my real life story...that's why I can share it with details...actually my experience about that was really traumatic...it's like I am walking and talking with shadows walking alongside with me...and there's more but, I'm going to share it to my next piece maybe...
      Again,thank you...
