by Yakori bint Muhammed   Nov 5, 2016

16th November, 2015.

Like a limbless specie
it crawled stealthy
ravaging my aura

An intruder it is
to my emotions
A stranger from the
outskirts of my dominion

Inducing the rise
of a storm in me,
I writhe in pangs

Parching the waves
of rapture dousing me
Blotting the shades
of peace painting me
Withering the burgeon
of energy soothing me

A glimmer projects
its bearing upon me
It says,
"it'll be more arduous",
wrap strings of faith
whilst on a swing of forbearance
Seeking the sprinkles of mercy
I plunge further into a chasm

Propelled to row
on the ship of angst,
I await your indulgence

    Yakori,

This is a wonderful piece, rich with imagery and beautifully written.
The layout you have employed works well and I particularly enjoyed the subtle sprinkling of alliteration throughout.

All the very best to you,

    Ben
