The Request to God

by Mahesh Kachare   Nov 10, 2016

O God, I have a small request
Please call me to your home
And let me enjoy the longest rest

Any path, I can't find
In my sorrowful life
'cause I am too blind

There is only struggle and fight
In my miserable journey
Please cast upon me blissful light

Every time people play the words' game
Without any reason and thinking
That there is an affair between them

Mahesh, this is a truly powerful and emotional piece that I guess people who have had bad life's will be able to relate to, calling on God to have mercy and bring you home. I must say I am not a believer but that this it home to me because many times I have begged for whoever is up there to release me from all the burdens etc but I am still here so I guess like you I am strong because I am told we're only dealt what we can handle.

I must admit though the last stanza threw me off a little and I think the piece would be perfect without it though that is entirely your choice.

All the best and remember its only a bad day, month or year not a bad life.

Yes. You are strong enough to be there to fight with bad circumstances. Thanks for the comment
