A New Dawn

by Kasie & deeplydesturbed   Jan 12, 2017

As the sun emerges,
Brightening the horizon.
The glistening morning dew,
Kisses the untouched grass.

The vibrant colors,
Oranges, pinks, and blues.
Infuse into the clouds,
Within the morning sky.

Rising higher, bringing with it,
More shimmering rays.
Spreading slowly across,
A vast mountainous land.

Birds awakened by the light,
Chirping and singing.
Waking the once silent Forest,
For a bright new day.

This is a truly beautiful image of a sunrise. As Ben says, in England at this time of year the sun tends to gift such sunrises and sunsets. The colours you mention are so vivid and complementary with the foreground scenery of mountains.

    Well done, a wonderful collaboration.

    Ladies,

This is a beautiful little piece that cheered me immensely as I sit inside on a dark, January day in England.
The visuals and flow are a joy to read.

Well done and all the best to you both,

    Ben
