Observations From The Woods

by Wayne Gates   Mar 4, 2017

The sun beams pierced
Through the foliage,
As if the creator himself
Was inspecting her work.
The smell of ferns
And decaying trees
Was sweet to the senses.
The silence was so relaxing
That I tried my best
Not to step on any twigs.
Silence is an illusion.
If you stand quietly
Long enough,
You can hear
The whispers of nature.

How beautiful! Lovely visuals here. True, there is just so much that nature offers, and getting lost in it is one of the most blissful moments.
    Beautifully crafted. :)
