Albino Moon:

by Scott Cole   Apr 30, 2017

On a moonlit night that wasn't so
For a heavy fog covered her glow,
That strawberry orange nightly sky
Was hardly seen by passing eyes.

A grim and very darkened moon
That didn't have its normal luster,
But still hangs high from a string
Like a awe candle with no bluster.

Her very presence is frowned upon
That faint reflection she puts off,
But even still her sweetness shines
With neon reasons to never scoff.

For comets would hide their face
And shooting stars wouldn't amaze,
If those moonlit skies was never lit
By that firy moon behind the haze.

This is beautiful Scott, just beautiful...... I gotta nominate this tomorrow if it lets me....

    Your visuals? are breathtaking!!!!

One small thing I would like to bring up...
In your first stanza, last line: hide should be hidden... It would read better...

Ohhhh wow, this is a poem that can sparkle any reader who reads it!
