You

by H. Elizabeth   Jul 23, 2017

You and I,
a couple of small town kids.
I don't ever remember
falling so hard.
Late nights and tobacco products
never tasted so sweet until
You.
Years spent together in school and
finally the time came where
You turned left.
and I turned right.
spring summer fall winter
Nights spent with
You.
I don't ever remember
crashing so hard.
You
tasted sweet like
late nights and tobacco products.
Memories with you scattered
around our small town
pieces of my heart scattered
around our small town
missing you
needing you
only ever wishing it was
You.
You.

You.

    Very nice.
It reminds me of my first love back when I was in high school.
All love is sweet, but first love is special.
