One Smile

Take your time today and smile,
For life is just a little while.

Be a pebble like no other,
Cause a ripple to another.

Be a star that shines so high,
And be a spark in someone's eye.

You are unique in your own way,
Try to make someone smile today.

Be kind and show someone you're there,
Give a helping hand if you care.

Be the light in someone's darkness,
And be the beauty of their starkness.

Our life just last a little while,
So take your time today and smile.

    Kasie always fills me with some kind of emotion when I read her pieces and I know that's what poetry is about but this piece seems will resonate with many of us because just 'one smile' can make us feel less depressed and what makes them much more special is they're contagious so let's all smile at a stranger (don't be to smily though or they'll think we've lost it) because it could make their day much better.
