    Scott, well done! Life is so full of ups and downs and you really nailed this. You can let these curve balls run your life or roll with them. Well done-

    "Conquer Or Complain" By Scott Cole 4 points.

    As one who believes in knuckling down and plowing through the adversities of life this poem really strummed a chord.

    Things happen, often bad things! yet we must carry on. People we thought as friends will chatter away making assumptions. Fingers pointed and blame appropriated. It's how we deal with it and come out the other end that is what defines us.

    A fantastic piece with a very poignant message.

    An important message of life penned with perfect rhyme
    and meanings. An inspirational write and yes it’s up to us;
    we can rise and fight or sit and complain. But what use is
    life’s lesson if we are just going to complain and not learn!

    Sir, first of all, a very well deserved win.
    And what an optimistic end 'when life throws you a curve, rise up and conquer your situation'.
    Exactly like you, sir, how you conquered this week front page.
    Somewhere in my heart I knew this poem would win.
    I love those poems which deliver message to the society.
    Tone of the poem is to raise awareness, to believe in ourselves, to stop complaining and think how can we contribute to the society.
    Obviously, we can't do that unless we learn how to tame our desperation, disbeliefs, and complains.
    Unless, we transform ourselves and stop pointing fingers at others; Not to lose stability in ups and downs of our life; allow satisfaction to spread and sprout instead of blame and doubt.
    Unless we rise above skepticism and squabbling and Redirect our intellect, conduct towards one thing and that is conquer the situation as soon as possible because uncertainty is alive and unpredictability is forever.

    As far as technical aspects of the poem, without a doubt, a brilliant write.
    Your choice of words, your rhyming and sir especially your timing of delivering the words throughout the poem is outstanding.
