I really enjoyed this small, to-the-point piece about the neverending cycle that is depression.

I am curious your reasoning behind the comma after "now". I reread it with and without, and couldn't decide; perhaps the word "hollow" was so important to you that you needed to ensure that the reader paused before the word "hollow" was read and sunk in?

Regardless, a piece that was written in 2016 is still relevant today, and will remain as such long after you and I are gone. Timeless, great job.
