Intricacies

The sun hides behind your chest,
The sky behind your eyelids.

The words you breathe are like forests,
brisk and intricate.

Your pronunciation of every syllable,
Are the leaves crackling beneath my feet.

Between your strawberry lips,
Is the potential to make people feel.

Instead,
A deep sigh escapes,
For you chose not to risk at all.

    i am mind blown with how much talent you have with your words.
    I read your poems and the very first thought that runs through my head is “oh my god this is beautiful” EVERY SINGLE TIME.
