I am constellations

by Valiantpenguin   Feb 9, 2018

You want to keep things separate
Until I am doing the separating
When you have more
This and that are yours
Everything that is mine that you want is ours

Your fears are my problem
Your insecurities are mine to fix

But my anxiety attacks are my problems
My fears and doubts are mine
I am just a problem to you

Problem, child?
Though you are not my father
You are his mirror
Or maybe mine
Your problems with me are his
I am the mistake made
Though I did not ask to be

I am more than that
I am the stars aligning perfectly
I am constellations
I am the sun
If you see it or not
I am worth more than the tears you bring to my eyes
