the feelings all wrong.

these words believed in,
the faith grew thin,
never able to find a win.

weak,
facing defeat,
only wanting to find peace.

held out a hand,
the final plan,
needing help to stand.

reaching out,
holding back,
hoping to get on track,

find a path,
to escape,
what looks like a bitter fate.

following a dim light,
in this empty space,
last hope for a better place.
