I want the sun to be as bright as You

by Everlasting   Mar 9, 2018

I want the sun to be as bright as you,
So I may see you every morning too.
It’s just that now, my dear, you have no clue,
That when the sun is up and coming through,
My eyes are blinded by its light and rays,
And then they cry and burn like hell, itself,
I scream in pain and close my eyes for days
Until I feel like my old common self
But then the sun resurfaces again
to spread its brightness after the night fell
I then feel warm but later in deep pain
Because my eyes can’t take its light that well

But you, my dear, are bright that I don’t mind
because you are a bright that doesn’t blind.

      Hi thanks, yeah...
I have done quiet a few rhyming poems. Though, I prefer to rhyme when I write rondeaus. Those are more fun.
