Destined To A Life Of Uncertainty

by Glenn G   Sep 8, 2018

I once loved a woman who was more beautiful than the world itself
She had a body that just wanted to be held
She knew how to love but couldn't commit to just one
So she still looks for a love, for she has found none
Dates, oh she goes on dates and comes home glad they are over
But never dates the same man twice for fear of being smothered
What a waste, this woman I love, the product of my dreams
She seems destined to a life of uncertainty and emptiness
While sacrificing love, marriage and all of life's good things
I could fulfill her wants, make all her dreams come true
Kiss her goodnight before bed, and in the morning say "I love you"

I second what Ben said. Beauty is fleeting at best. There is so much more to a person than their physical attributes.

It is often the case that beauty needs to keep being seen, by as many as possible. Unfortunately, the beauty fades eventually, no one's interested anymore and then loneliness is all that's left them.

    Take care
