Drunken Night

by Samantha   Oct 24, 2018

Slurred words.
Blurred lines.

Do you remember? Your drunken words that fooled my heart, thoughts spinned wildly, heart raced a million beats a minute.

Slurred words.
Blurred lines.

Do you remember? When you whispered sweet melodies, touched me endlessly, kissed me like there was no tomorrow.

Slurred words.
Blurred lines.

Do you remember? The euphoria of hearing you say “mine”, hungry eyes and a possessive hold, everyone backing off.

Slurred words.
Blurred lines.

Do you remember? The way your drunken words seeped into my heart, only to be left hungover as the sun rose, shining on your now sober face.

Slurred words.
Blurred lines.

Do you remember how you don’t remember?
