Living lies
Live in lies
Truth unheard of,
Tongue tied.
Loyalty lost,
Heart bound by.
Lies
Lie,
Awake
Mind in denial,
Eyes blinded by.
Living lies
Live in lies
Hands wandering,
Bodies touching,
Lips quivering,
Sheets to the side,
Hearts intertwined.
Living lies
Live in lies.
Soul is empty
Stuck and lonely
Praying, dear God
Please come save me
Living lies
Live in lies.

    I liked this and the refrain of "living lies" and live in lies works well. I took it to mean living a life having to lie because you are surrounded by lies. Milly x

      When I wrote this I had in mind how life is full of lies sometimes. Especially people. At that time I had someone in mind that kept lying to me. “Living lies” meaning I wake up and feel like I was just living lies. Things said to me, I felt like it was lies. So it was as if I was living lies. THe “live in lies” was more personally me. Like I was lying to myself about certain things in my life. I was living in my own lies.
