Insomnia.

by Samantha   Nov 15, 2018

She stared at her ceiling
Wondering waiting,
For her time to come.
She breathed in cool air
Fighting off chills,
Life’s cold touch.
She felt sadness take over
Hoping praying,
It will all be better.
She heard echoes from darkness
Whispering regrets,
Wish she’d done this instead.
She poured her sorrows
Spilling onto pages,
Words are all that’s left.
She begged for you to see
Crying her last tears,
There’s nothing else to give.
She felt her heart still
Breaking into pieces,
Look what you did.
