Michael, I also like this poem, unfortunately the content....so very sad.

I'd like to say I'm glad I inspired you in some way but, sadly the topic is one I'd rather not have to read or write about and yet, I know it needs to get out there.

I was horrified, absolutely horrified to hear that a former prime minister of Australia (John Howard) gave this scumbag a character reference which makes me wonder exactly how his appeal will go given that, today another scumbag, christian brother john francis tyrell had his conviction quashed after an appeal...will the same thing happen with pell? OMG...I could go on and on but...suffice to say, I'm glad you also managed to write something about the nasty things that have happened and still do to children who are taught to trust those who are supposed to represent god.
