Empty Poemed

by Jonathan Jewell   Jun 16, 2019

There's not much point in writing poems,
When you've nothing much to say,
You end up talking pineapples,
And about how poems spend their day.

But sometimes when you write a poem,
You find another way,
Of saying things you wanted to
But never dared to say.

So write a poem!
And have a laugh :D
Just throw out doubt and gloom :)
And before you've even noticed it,
You'll have a poem about a loom.

Hmm, do you have to have a reason to write a poem?

I cannot think of a more 'rhetorical question'! If there is a question to which '42' is actually, I have no doubt that it is a question of that type. Well, maybe just a tiny bit of doubt, just in case I come across it, and miss it because I'm expecting something else... thanks for commenting!

this poem only makes any sense if you look at my 'literary accomplishments' on this site over the past 24 hours...even then, you'll be hard pushed to find reason behind it :/
