The Over-Regulation of Poetry Echoes Deeply Online

Unless we address
this first test
Of our Syntax and Semantics,
The next case
we will face will be
An onslaught
On our ***THOUGHT***
Through Spelling, Discourse and Pragmatics!

You can't use more than 64 characters for a title, so I couldn't add the poem's alternative title:

'A response to the unreasonable demands of the poems-and-quotes.com site's use of technological mandating of the completion of certain form fields before the submission of poems can be completed.'

64 characters? I don’t think I have ever tried to submit a title that long...

It's actually a kind of 'echo' of the short/full title of the play 'Marat/Sade' by Peter Weiss. The full title though is: 'The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade', or (I'm told, I don't speak German): Die Verfolgung und Ermordung Jean Paul Marats dargestellt durch die Schauspielgruppe des Hospizes zu Charenton unter Anleitung des Herrn de Sade)...as I said, I don't speak German, but that does 'look' German to me. Apologies to native speakers if that's not right!
