In Your Tears

by Mark   Aug 20, 2019

If time shall prove you breathe whilst I cannot
And that same gentled breath need mourn for me;
Then cry me far from soil, for there I'm not
But in where tears of love had come to be.
As there I'll tread to ease the pain in love
For love had once to glow, but then to cry
Yet I shall never leave to skies above;
As you I've loved and there I'll live to die.
Yet if you doubt my presence, dream the time;
When younger eyes had met with younger days
And I will whisper mine in sweetest rhyme:
'My love in daze as first when we did gaze'.

I'll drown a thousand deaths in thousand tears
For you my love, my love outlasts the years.
