Never Ignored (to my ladies)

by Domenico Sottile   Oct 19, 2019

When I leave you to prepare the meals
I am not ignoring you

If tired I go to seep
I am not ignoring you

When I am not able to protect you from your fears
I am not ignoring you

If I am too weak or sick to lift you up
I am not ignoring you

When I will be too old to run to you
I won’t be ignoring you

If I am too old to build a castle for you
nor funny enough to make you laugh
I am not ignoring you

When I am not sabe enough to make you well
I am not ignoring you as well

If I am not strong enough to hide my tear
ignoring you should not be your fear

Even when you sleep
I see of your thoughts the grace
As long as in my heart lingers your smiling face

Even the entire world ignoring me
is a worry that my soul could never face
for in front of my eyes
will always appear your smiling face
