It's Sad But True

by Hope   Nov 15, 2019

It's sad but true,
I don't care,
but I'd say a prayer through holy sin,
love was the only exile,
there is no escape,
it's all behind a simple man,
fallen grace in broken bones,
catastrophic faith in my eyes,
walk away and fade in the distance,
you'd see the sun,
stitch my bones together and I'd walk in exile,
I'd sing for you Lucifer,
I'll sing in fallen grace,
I don't want the world but I believe in what turns;
spinning away for a cosmic tragedy,
How do we all fall?
I'm open in my empty and broken heart,
leave it all to pieces,
It's sad but true so turn away,
live and fall through black holes in the stars,
walk through the fire,
don't turn back,
in my memoir we all fall,
eye to eye as we are strangers,
it's all in the wasteland with a bittersweet smile,
cross out the night and you'd see gold,
where did it all go wrong and where didn't I go right?
we all fall.
