Silence

Can you hear an ant's foot steps in the rain?
Or the flapping of a butterfly's wings in a storm?
Can you hear the thoughts of dolphins in the sea?
Or the sound of a shooting star?

Silence is heard by all, yet curiously noticed by few.
Silence has a ring of eeriness when one is alone.
And a sense of joy when heard from stressful ears.

Words of silence speak of emptiness.
Songs of silence ring of sorrow when left unattended.
Thoughts of silence can bring despair.

Ironically, silence speaks loudest when words aren't shared,
Or when smiles not exchanged,
And when gifts of love are not given.

Silence is the emptiness felt by those left unattended yearning for acceptance,
Or from those with needs of praise.
Silence is the ruler of emptiness when silence falls on deaf ears.
Silence fills the night, chills the heart, and suffocates the soul.

Words of love break silent woes,
Fills the air with joyful songs that swell the heart and soul.
Oh, such wonders broken silence brings, with its heart filled stings.

Silence of the night fades as new morning light is exchanged for warm days.
And as silence fades in new dawn light, ant's footsteps are heard,
And butterfly wings sound as drumming across the land.
And relationships ensue and love grows without silent woes.

This is so pretty! A lot of words for thought, silence can give you peace and it also can destroy a relationship. Really well done-
