Nunc-Stans

by Larry Chamberlin   Dec 31, 2019

Flows into God, my incapacity
to overcome the inexorable density
of moments in my life, the seconds;
eons of here-and-nows pile up,
discarded immediately as passé
and lost in the passage of the present

    So interesting! Always love your brevity and your brilliance. I had to look the title up, though it encompasses the poem incredibly well. "Abiding now" - standing still in the present, no distinction between the periods of life, because there is no acknowledgment of time, of past, of future.

    Thought-provoking indeed.
