At First Sight

Two strangers eyes upon a train
When they meet they look again
This time confirm with a smile
Their eyes both lock for a while

Heat now felt on their cheek
As they try to be discrete
And look away as they blush
But neither soon resist the rush

Both now caught in this trance
Third look can't be just a chance
This time it's like neither care
As both their looks turn to stare

The train slowing then rings the bell
A stop ahead that breaks the spell
The man reluctantly starts to leave
The girls look now turns to grieve

Her eyes follow him out the door
Feeling now like her heart's sore
He stops to turn and waves goodbye
She's feeling like she wants to cry

The girl reacts and blows a kiss
Not wanting for this chance to miss
Now he can't help by walking back
As the train's moving on the track

The girls expressions turn to stun
While watching him begin to run
Sadly although to no avail
This chance for love has turned to fail

A lesson now here to be learned
To all the hopeful ones concerned
True love will never be discrete
When both of you are destined to meet
