The Week of Small Blessings

by Tanya Southey   Jan 28, 2020

I was called to go in,
go in and find the small sky;
the one where I can make
the sun rise,
where my wisdom has wings
and I can consecrate
my life with tiny blessings

I close the circle,
gather this flock of blessings,
shepherding these woolly
feelings that give me joy;
herding them into
a safe space to count them
and then release them
back into the world

Go forth small blessing,
golden coffee cup of joy;
come into view large intention
emerging with a friend,
don’t be shy;
step into the open
little conversation
take flight,
go and change the world.

      Thank you. I write a poem a week and my friend who is a street photographer matches a photo to it. This week's picture is more beautiful than the poem https://www.instagram.com/p/B7vWBAPnsbV/
