Credenda

Credenda

I knew many a catholic
who did not believe in God
and although not as loquacious
was a socialist like Jesus

At a tender age of twenty
the same many
learned and still further insist
the word believe is used
for that which does not exist

So much confusion now
-they further observe-
this word carries until the urn
obliviously
never its meaning try to discern

Credenda have taken
and still are taking
our livelihood to the pits
while so many dream
of staying at the Ritz

I know in a lump
all is called a Trump
