If the words were enough

by Timothy   Feb 21, 2020

If the words were enough...
To transit time,
To take hold of destiny, to rewind;
Some cosmic power,
Inside a magic flower.

If the words were enough...
To erase a thousand mistakes,
Obliterate all our heartaches;
A key to fit a lock,
A little luck upon a shamrock.

If the words were enough...
To get a chance to break the barricade,
But its not possible, because it's hand-made;
All chances have gone away, have fluttered,
And "I'm sorry" shall never be uttered.

    Words can't always fix or repair the hurt or the relationship. Even if it does, the scar is always there with a doubt...good to see you back in writing! Take care
