This genuinely moved me immensely, MA.

"We didn't know lust could be innocent"

Just one of the many lines I could have picked from this wonderful (and wonderfully refreshing) piece.

    Take care.

    Hello, Poet on the Piano,
Love in a whirlwind of tragedies and when there is no one else, there is always us. A beautiful movement to this poem without being repetitious, gracing into each stanza with the poetics of love, lust, loss and innocence. Truly wonderful writing. Praises galore.
    Regards, Tony.

    I love this:
"too afraid and ashamed to do more
than place our problems in ink."

    Such a heartbreaking poem.

***We shared our secrets, slept with razors
in bed, wrote poems to our addictions,
too afraid and ashamed to do more
than place our problems in ink. ***

This part right here. ?? Love! I don’t know why it gripped me so eagerly, maybe the part about writing poems to our addictions, but I love it. The memories, the vivid pictures you brought out with this poem, all amazing! Great Write! ????
