You're My Home

by Eddie Hoyte   Jun 8, 2020

They say no such thing as the perfect girl...
But I found you with a graceful heart,
Perfect teeth, Perfect eyes, your lovely curls
I marvel at your body, a perfect work of Art..

I long for your lips, sweeter than wine
For your love and smiles, caring divine
I long for your hips, swinging to mine
For our day of bliss, walking the aisle

When I found you, I found love
I found peace, sent from above
Stay with me as we count the stars
Pray with me as battle our scars

Your love to me is as sweet,
As sweet as the honey can be..
So feel my emotions, feel my heartbeat
Your heart is mine, aligned to me

Say to me tenderly, say to me now..
We'll build a home, out in the fields..
We'll build a union, We'll take our vows
We'll build a home, have lovely kids..

So Let our love live through each night
Together we'll grow old..
Let our love be written in the sands of times..
For our story will be told
