Lady Artificial

by Lindsay   Jul 25, 2020

EVERYONE!
Bow down before Lady Artificial.
CLEAR the way,
present your best.
She will pick her chosen ones and joyfully mock the rest.

...BEWARE!
All friends heed my advice.
Don't fall victim to her crooked wiles.
For soon her mask will begin to crust,
concealed beneath her smiles.

When Lady Artificial talks,
her voice lingers into many ears.
And sits herself upon a shelf,
waiting for one that hears.

Lady Artificial cast her black eyes upon me.
Withdrawn; I refuse such an alluring plea.

LOOK! THERE! I SEE IT!
The mask is peeling.
Inching closer with angst feeling
seizing quickly all her revealing.
