Why Didn't I Get Married?

by Aiko (Dreamsurfer)   Aug 18, 2020

I asked her if she could marry me,
She said YES,
But she did not want to ruin the relationship I had already started with another girl.
Why didn't I get married?
What if I told her I preferred her to the other girl?
Wouldn't she be mine?
She also had something going on with a friend of mine,
But my spirit wanted her.
It was a mindbending puzzle,
So our future together had to fizzle,
Out the window.
Now am single.

An interesting conundrum. To be with one woman but love another and for her also to be with another but love you back. There is so much scope here for the imagination. That you could almost write a novel. Milly x
