The Little Girl

by Michelle   Jul 13, 2004

A little girl wonders alone
Sitting by a lake
Hearing a soft tone
The wind blows by her softly
It whispering a sweet song
One that only she could hear
Upon her little eyes something glowed bright
She opens them slowly
Seeing the moon as it is now night
She sighs looking up at the moon
Wishing there was more to life then this
The wind blows hard by her
She closes her eyes once again
Around her the leaves stir
Slowly she begins singing a song
She disappears the song echoing in the wind
She has been for years gone
Under the lake water lays a shoe
One that once belonged to her
She fell in when a strong wind blew
Could u have guessed that at all?
A innocent little girl standing next to a lake
.....would fall?

this isn't a true story or poem, but still something like this can still happen when u dont watch what ur doing, or ur siblings or children.
