Origin

by Walter   Oct 20, 2020

Watching as the sun comes down
Your shadow long upon the ground
In high contrast you're such a sight
Then slowly blend into the night

I turn around and search for you
And now caught in another view
The sparkle from a full moon sky
Reflects so brightly from your eyes

Like a comet caught within your spell
An attraction I cannot repel
A force which neither of us see
Where we're both drawn like gravity

And here is where we will unite
In a dazzling display of fire and light
When once our paths were so diverse
Alone in the vast universe

It seems that we were meant to meet
Just as a universe incomplete
But guided by forces from above
Our bodies merge till we find love
