Love Is Blind

Love is amazing, and yet causes pain
Fills your day with sunshine, but also rain
It makes you feel wanted, then so alone
One day it will satisfy, then cut to the bone

Your smiles become laughs, then sobs as you cry
With kisses for hello, but not last goodbye
Where promises are made, yet not one is kept
And intimacy shared, which turns to regret

Where photos hang high, but then are removed
I love you is meant, with no need to prove
What's mine's also yours, until we all claim
When all is forgiven, then you are to blame

Yes love has two sides, which we might not see
The first one's amazing, I'm sure you'll agree
But love also hurts, and sometimes it's mean
I just hope for you, this side is not seen

    Omg, I wish I could nominate this. It flowed like an iceskater on ice (not me ofcourse because I'd be on my backside lol) and is so very true. There are definitely two sides to love but the thing that we need to remember is that sometimes, even though it hurts like hell, love is one of the best gifts to give.. Take care. Em x
