Escape

by Baby Rainbow   Feb 14, 2021

I can't stay the favourite girl in solitary confinement,
becoming the piece of creation you had beyond a dream.
I'm no longer afraid to sleep when I'm alone,
I'm no longer afraid of the future.
I'm just one girl who can now run faster
without the pain of your heavy burden.
I can imagine how disappointed you were,
when you found out she was breaking her fate
that you had planned for her all along.

But you failed.
And she won.

Because she finally cared enough to scream
and the truth echoed from her lungs
for the entire world to hear!
