The Heart that Swims the Ocean

by Sherry Caayupan   Feb 23, 2021

I could feel your breath
The life that devours my soul
A heartful surrender to love's forgiving debt
Left with nothing nor all

My fingers explore your manly glory
Your body in unregretting awe
The love, the dignified ecstasy
All there, it's you I saw

Your timely kiss as if lost time
The clock ticks on the twelfth of never
Ou hands cross and never lie
Like kisses that you deliver

Like in another life
Your masculine heart entered in mine
All the cares, all the strife
Gone as I praised a holy shrine

Our love summoned a voyage
Emerged from your scrutiny
It's young, fragile of age
The rest purely history.
