What is love

Love is not a kids game
It's a unseen raging flame

Burns all and leaves nothing
Blind, yet sees everything

Hangs a lover upside down
Until complete breakdown

Shaking all the nonsense out
Leaving behind a blackout

Erases all what doesn't belong
Does what's right and never wrong

Cleaning and purging the soul
Slowly but surely plays it's role

Breaking all barriers raises above
All what is false and what is not love

Once settled, it doesn't go away
A rare visitor who comes to stay

Desire, appetite, wishes and lust
Dissolve and scatter like stardust

Then hellfire, paradise, life and death
Become meaningless with each breath

Even ones existence doesn't matter
At some point it also has to shatter

This way love prepares those who want
To sacrifice everything what is irrelevant

To be presented in front of The Merciful
Where they will live again and be joyful

That time the soul will shine and glow
Like the wise Rumi said it centuries ago

When God will say:
I have created everything for you

And the soul will reply:
I have left behind everything for you
