Virtual Pion

A virtual Pion,
it is a triumph of imperceptibility,
a subtle combination of concept and image,
the union of luminosity and obscurity,
on the edge of appearing and disappearing.

(Pion or pi meson, in physics, any of three mesons (positive, negative, neutral). They play a role in binding together the neutrons and protons in the nucleus of an atom.)

    This is so rich I have to ponder a little. It sounds so modern it is hard to wrap your mind around it: "a triumph of imperceptibility" Yet " a subtle combination of concept and image"
