Into The Night's Restless Love

by Sherry Caayupan   Jul 6, 2021

So softly in the night's camaraderie,
I dreamnt of unstopping nights;
Embraced in a love full of passion and a love tenderly,
Touching this tender heart of mine;

A few eloping kisses,
Flies by my yearning lips to his;
So as the yearn he truly misses,
Of burning love pure of bliss;

A fragile touch or two,
Felt too from kisses we've made;
Awakens this sleeping heart once blue,
Of creeping loneliness once laid;

I feel every kiss or entwine even when time stops,
By my door of love that never closed;
I could not count the hours as it hops,
When borrowed time stops or then, goes;

The night shall never cease on this day,
As we drown in a bed of flowers;
We swim and play the roles that we play,
In this haven shall we lay on forever;

A bid of kiss to a good night,
Before curtains that laid witness;
Of a love never gone out of sight,
Into the night's restless endless.
