Joyful Dream

For as long as she remembers
She held this dream deep inside
and wherever she goes,
It is never out of sight.

Resemblance of completion,
Abundance of happiness,
And endless containment of fear
took over her thoughts for years.
But it all passes through with
the belief that one day it shall be true.

Time passes by and she simply
mastered the art of hiding
what is inside grinding
her heart into shattered pieces of glass
and with every moment or talk
she selects the broken piece cut
that gives the perfect fit
to just roll on & on with it.

With her faith that this joyful dream
shall one day come in place
and simply be a living reality,
With her wisdom to contain it through
& water its roots to grow
within her living soul;
There's that smile she wears
Like a sunshine
that lights the day after
a stormy & rainy night
shed with tears & fears.

Through her inner soul, she heard
And soon enough she realized
that she needed to pull through her gears
to drive her mind & soul
to where the joy steers
because standing still won't
serve the game
but it will make it lame.

So here she is
as fierce as never thought she could
dressed in confidence,
Tip toeing through her achievements
until one day, this joyful dream
comes along, at the right time,
in the right moment of the destined day
and here shall it be,
forever to stay.
