The Objects of Greed

by BOB GALLO   Dec 30, 2021

Leave the wastes where they belong:
in the stores,
where they come from.

They teach us to consume
in order to consume us,
consume our wealth.

They enchain us to counterfeit desires and needs,
to enslave us,
to drain us, to deplete us,
to add us to their diet.

They blindfold our sense of identity.
They make us to identify
with the objects of needs and greeds
instead of
our true selves.
