Signs of Love

I dream of you while I'm awake
Whenever the distance far
To see your smile, is all it takes
I know where you are

Without your steps my home is bare
As if I don't belong
When once you were everywhere
I thought was for lifelong

Because you still hold my key
For you my door's not locked
But my home, remains empty
You haven't even knocked

I come home to silence now
But still search in every room
Our en suite pause and wonder how
It still smells of your perfume

And your reflection can be seen
In the mirrors on the wall
But as soon the room is filled with steam
I'm now no longer sure
