Worthwhile

by Kate   Jul 6, 2022

The days pass by in a dizzying blur.
And I find myself counting the seconds until
I can feed off the next flood of serotonin,
Filling in the empty spaces of my mind.
I currently live for the little moments,
The tiny pockets of excitement I schedule
To take up space on an empty calendar.
To make it all feel worthwhile.

Those tiny moments, those pockets sometimes keep us afloat. This is a lovely poem and thank you for sharing it.
